Five days without a performance, and I was beginning to miss the island (read: I was going STIR CRAZY)!
OpenStage does an amazing job of making theater accessible to the Fort Collins community - a free performance of every production for students/educators, a pay-what-you-can performance, and a night with $10 tickets and free beer (provided by the local Odell Brewery). Tonight was pay-what-you-can, and another absolutely delightful crowd.
It was lovely to be back in Ariel’s make-up and costume, back around our lovely cast and crew, and back in the theatre. Despite a week off without rehearsals or even a line-run, the show went rather well! Other than some new audio cues, the show ran much the same as before.
The difficulty and delight of getting back into the Shakespearean language, being back in front of an audience, oh I just love it! Looking forward to a weekend filled with performing! Yes please, and thank you!
