We are such stuff
As dreams are made on
Absolutely melting at the language and substance of the play. The speech that got me tonight is one of Prospero's (rather famous) speeches -
The cloud-capp’d towers
The gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples,
The great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit,
Shall dissolve.
We are such stuff
As dreams are made on;
And our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
I mean, COME ON! That is seriously DELICIOUS writing.

  • What is revealed to us as actors? As characters?
