Today I was introduced to the concept of 
Timshel
And although it is debated whether the word itself 
Is actually a true Hebraic word
It has come to mean 
"Thou shalt," as in 
You must (do the thing)
You will (it is destined you will do the thing), or
You mayest (choose to do the thing)

It is a strange thing to be on this earth
To be here at all
How must we live our lives? 
Dancing on the precipice of 
The extraordinary gift it is to be alive
And the everyday banality of life 

As the Buddha said 
Life is suffering 
And, as Cary Elwes further expanded
Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something 

We must live
We will live 
We may live 
We choose
Life.
