I’ve been working hard
Long hours requiring
Lots of brain energy
Lots of focus and
Lots of paying attention to other people
It was utter luxury
To not have to be anywhere
Or be accountable to anyone else
And to stay safe and warm and dry
When it was cold and wet outside
I made soup out of the roast veg
And pizza dough from flour and yogurt
Watched a concert
​Played some music
And let myself
Just be.
